For hosting providers & IT teams

A clearer signal for the sites you support.

Verify website failures across US regions, review response times, and keep an incident record from investigation to recovery.

Verify the outage

Mage Watcher asks other monitoring regions to verify a failure before it opens a confirmed incident and sends an outage email.

  1. Step 01

    A region spots a problem.

A failed website check starts investigation.

  2. Step 02

    Other regions check too.

At least two separate regions must agree before an outage is confirmed.

  3. Step 03

    You get a clearer signal.

Confirmed incidents trigger your configured email rules. Recovery is verified too.

If another region finds the site up, the failure is recorded as a false alarm without an outage email. Checks currently run from US regions: West, Central and Dallas. Available regions depend on your plan.

Investigate with context

Failures are recorded with a plain-language reason: DNS failure, connection refused or timed out, SSL/TLS error, server or client error, wrong content or a redirect loop.

Chart response times by region and review recent checks with result, HTTP status and response time. Review the incident timeline from first failure to recovery.

Eligible Web Images add visual evidence alongside the event.

Web Images requires an eligible plan or Image Capture add-on and a capture-enabled region.

Keep updates consistent

Route outage, recovery and SSL emails to named recipient lists, with rules for all monitors, a group or a single monitor. Optional still-down reminders repeat every 15, 30, 60, 120 or 240 minutes until the incident is resolved, and recovery is verified before the all-clear.

Alerts are email only.
